Silicone is a different medium than vinyl-- more expensive than vinyl, but preferred by many.
The process of creating a silicone will allow for imperfections. These imperfections are not defects, but rather the nature of silicone. You can fix the imperfections with a platinum silicone (we recommend Ecoflex 20) prior to the painting process.
Silicones are more difficult to work with than vinyl and typically recommended for the experienced artist.
Little Squirts Nursery uses a combination Smooth On Psycho Paint A&B and Smooth On Silc Pig Silicone Pigments and Enfis Silicone pigments.
